Visiomed Group (FR0013481835 - ALVMG), a group specializing in innovative healthcare technologies and services, today announces that its wholly-owned subsidiary Smart Salem posted record high footfall in June 2022. City Walk, the first digital center opened in 2020 offering medical fitness tests, which are required for obtaining residence and work visas in the United Arab Emirates, recorded the highest number of monthly visits in its history. Over 8,000 people visited the center in June to undergo medical fitness assessments, up 14.1% compared to June 2021.

Smart Salem experiences moderate seasonal fluctuations. Over the full year, visits fluctuate around 20% between the busiest and quietest months (especially in summer, when many residents travel and there are fewer new arrivals). Footfall in 2022 increased fairly steadily versus 2021, highlighting the quality of the medical service offering combined with a stable long-term growth model.

The City Walk center also finished installing a second X-ray room in June 2022 and now operates six days a week with a reduced time service on Sunday. These two changes will help ease pressure on peak times, improve customer satisfaction and increase the total number of customers handled by the center.

The authorities estimate the number of medical fitness assessments carried out in Dubai each year at around 3 million and increasing due to population growth. The market is a mixture of standard and VIP premium medical fitness assessments. Smart Salem serves a small part of this market and the growth potential is high, not only in Dubai but also in the rest of the United Arab Emirates and throughout the Middle East.

Against this backdrop, Visiomed Group announced the opening of a second medical center in August 2022 in the prestigious Index Mall shopping center located in Dubai's DIFC financial district (Dubai International Financial Center)¹. The new medical center will have an area of nearly 1,000 m², much greater than the current center in City Walk and therefore able to accommodate a larger number of patients on a daily basis. A third center will open towards the end of 2022 in the Dubai Knowledge Park, one of TECOM Group's most vibrant business hubs².

To finance the ramp-up of Smart Salem's expansion, last week Visiomed Group launched an issue of non-convertible bonds for a total minimum amount of €2.5 million in the form of a crowdfunding offer open to all investors via the Equisafe Invest³ platform. Subscription is open until August 15^th, 2022 inclusive.
